Rotorua Rose Garden Wedding Photography

On a gorgeous sunny day in spring Sam and Sheree said their "I do's" in front of friends and family in the Murray Linton Rose Gardens. It was a super hot November day and sunblock was definitely needed.Sam and Sheree went to high school with me, so it was really special for me to be able to capture their day for them. Back at school Sam and Sheree didn't date. However they connected via Facebook while Sam was at university in Christchurch. They were close to being high school sweethearts but just not quite.Sheree is originally from the UK and after Sam and her got engaged in 2014, they packed up and went on an OE to Europe for a year or so. They hadn't planned on a 3 year engagement, but in the end that is what happened.We had fun exploring the Government Gardens in Rotorua on their wedding day. Sam really wanted the iconic Rotorua Museum in the background of one of his wedding photos so we gave it a whirl. It turned out pretty awesome even with the temporary fences in front of it. The wind at Sulphur Point was a little strong but we found shelter amongst the gorgeous Gum Trees. Even if it was beside the nasty geese (will that's my opinion of them, the boys came up with fun ideas).Sam and Sheree your day was absolutely beautiful!
