On the edge of the Lake Rotorua in Ngongotaha Rotorua, David and Leanne became the new Mr and Mrs Rumney! I've known David and Leanne for a long time (we were all at High School together) and was so happy for them when they got engaged! Leanne's families bach was the perfect location for their ceremony. The decorations were such a family affair! David's mum grew the Sunflowers which were in the bouquets and along the isle, Leanne's dad sewed the bunting which was marking the isle, archway and the reception venue.Their day was perfectly them! As they both love the Harry Potter books it was so awesome to have a reading from one of the books in their ceremony. The tables at the reception were long rectangular ones which were named after the four houses at Hogwarts; Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. They even had goblets to drink from for the newlyweds, how cool is that! Leanne's dress was made by I Sew 4 U and was so right for her in every way especially the lace bodice. As Leanne walked down the isle to David their friends Joseph and Maia sang "Somebody New" which is an awesome song from their new album Sorrento! We had the photos in different locations around Ngongotaha but my favourite was at the bach by the boatshed and their boat had yellow on it! Fit so well!
