Nick is a Rotorua boy who met and fell in love with Brad, an aussie guy. Got to love them aussies huh :) After doing things backwards (honeymoon before the wedding), Nick and Brad exchanged vows on the front steps of the gorgeous Hamurana Lodge.Lots of planning went into this wedding hence Brad was nicknamed Bradzilla. However things didn't go to plan due to a cyclone, venue change, and a power cut all happening surrounding the I dos.The day before the wedding, Nick, Brad, family and friends were mucking out a horse stable so that they could transform it into a wedding reception. A cyclone was suppose to be hitting New Zealand - which ended up just being lots and lots of rain! During the ceremony everyone was sheltered under the big carport at the front of the lodge. Luckily for us we had a break in the weather for family and friend photos. The reception was gorgeous! And so applicable to Nick as he grew up surrounded by horses and mucking stables. In the end it was the perfect venue for the two of them, even with a power cut.Through all the mishaps and changes, Brad and Nick had a wonderful day surrounded by family and friends from around the world. They were able to relax, enjoy the day and share lots of laughs. You could tell that these two handsome grooms were madly in love with each other. Nothing fazed them and their smiles did not falter after the I dos. Thanks Nick and Brad for having us along. We enjoyed it thoroughly, it was a beautiful day xxx
