Terms & Conditions
Mini sessions are subject to the following terms and conditions. By booking a mini session appointment you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions and privacy statement.
Terms of Trade
“I” shall mean Grace Jones Photography (photographer).
“You” shall mean the client, any person acting on behalf of and with the authority of the client, or any person purchasing services from myself with ostensible authority from you.
“Image/s” are any photograph or design created by Grace Jones Photography including digital files. These remain the property of the photographer, and may be used for promotion/advertising, display or any other purposes thought proper.
The mini sessions are not suitable for brand new babies under one month old. It is recommended that you book a private baby session during the first two weeks of your baby’s life. These sessions will allow the photographer enough time to get lots of gorgeous, settled shots of your baby and your family together. For more information on baby and family portrait sessions please contact us.
Mini sessions are super quick sessions for up to four children only. You will receive a minimum of two camera aware photos of your child(ren) in the photography studio setup and these images are made available to you as a digital file via email or gallery within a reasonable time period (normally three weeks following your session pending any technical difficulties). There are no extra images to choose from, and there is no option to choose another image if you are dissatisfied with the ones you have been given. Family portraits are not available. For more information on family sessions please contact us.
The price per session is $55.00 and must be paid through Stripe. This includes five portraits of your child(ren) taken during the session time slot (as described above) at the photographer’s studio. This price is subject to change without notification. This session fee is non-refundable.
There is no opportunity to catch up for the mini session portrait price if you miss the specified time slot. Mini sessions are on a specific day/s between set hours at the photographer’s studio. The photographer reserves the right to discontinue the mini session at any time without warning.
In the unlikely event of the photographer being ill, the mini session will be postponed. Should the photographer be unable to perform the mini sessions due to fire, accident, casualty, acts of God, strike, illness, or for any other reason, then the photographer will return all fees to the client(s) but shall have no further liability with respect to the agreement. You agree to release the photographer from any liability for any claims whatsoever for consequential losses or in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera, computer or technology malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the photographer.
The intellectual property (including copyright) in all parts of the mini session (including the set-up of the session and the digital files) belong to the photographer pursuant to the Copyright Act 1994. You shall have a non-exclusive licence to use the digital files in whatever way you see fit including disseminating the digital photos to third parties without further consent. For the avoidance of doubt, the images from the mini sessions are fully released for the photographer’s use in marketing both online and in print.
